Musnad `Umar b. al-Khattab (ra)
مُسْنَدِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Hadith 2:244
Sahih (Darussalam) [ al-Bukhari (1954) and Muslim (1100)] (Darussalam)
It was narrated from `Asim bin ‘Umar from his father that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
`When night comes and day departs and the sun sets, the fasting person may break his fast.”
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أَقْبَلَ اللَّيْلُ وَأَدْبَرَ النَّهَارُ وَغَرَبَتْ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَفْطَرَ الصَّائِمُ
