Hadith 2:432
'Ubadah b. al-Samit reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying :
the prayer is not valid I one does not recite fatihat al-kitab and something more, sufyan( the narrator) said: This applies to a man who prays alone.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَابْنُ السَّرْحِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ صَلاَةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ فَصَاعِدًا " قَالَ سُفْيَانُ لِمَنْ يُصَلِّي وَحْدَهُ .
