Hadith 3:45

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah concerning Asma' bint Umais that when she gave birth at Dhul-Hulaifah, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to Abu Bakr:
"Tell her to perform Ghusl and (begin the Talbiyah)."
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، فِي حَدِيثِ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ حِينَ نُفِسَتْ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لأَبِي بَكْرٍ " مُرْهَا أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ وَتُهِلَّ "
