And follow what is revealed...

"And follow" in all your affairs, whether of belief, action, or proclamation, "what is revealed unto you" — using the structure of renewal and continuity. The expression of the Truth—interpreted as the Quran—reaching them via "coming" (arrival) and reaching him, may Allah the Exalted bless him and grant him peace, via "revelation," serves as a reminder of the incompatibility between the two ranks. If "the Truth" is intended as stated previously, then the matter is very clear.

"And be patient" regarding the hardships of proclamation and the harm inflicted by those who have gone astray, "until Allah judges" by granting victory over them or by commanding battle, "and He is the best of judges." For it is impossible for an error to occur in His judgment, the Exalted, because He is aware of the inner secrets just as He is aware of the outward appearances. Others, glory be to His Majesty, from among the judges, only perceive outward appearances, thus error occurs in their judgment.

It is not hidden what these verses contain of good admonition, consolation for the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, a promise for the believers, and a warning to the disbelievers.

Praise be to Allah, the Exalted, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the Master of the Messengers, whose mention brings comfort to the hearts of the monotheists, and upon all his family and companions.
