Surah Yunus 10:43

ﱁ ﱂ ﱃ ﱄ ﱅ ﱆ ﱇ ﱈ ﱉ ﱊ ﱋ ﱌ

And among them are those who look at you. But can you guide the blind although they will not [attempt to] see?

"And among them are those who look at you," meaning they observe the clear proofs of your prophethood, "but are not guided by them, like the blind."

"Will you, then, guide the blind?"—that is, are you capable of guiding them?

"Even if they do not see?"—meaning even if their lack of vision is compounded by a lack of insight. For the intended meaning of 'seeing' here is to take heed and to possess discernment, and the fundamental element in that is the faculty of inner insight (basirah). Therefore, the insightful blind person may intuitively grasp and perceive what the foolish sighted person cannot.

Thus, it cannot be said: "How did you attribute looking and seeing to them initially, and then negate it from them subsequently?"
