Tafsir
Verse range: 10:82
And Allah establishes the truth (meaning: He confirms it and strengthens it). This is a conjunctive clause to His—Glorified be He—saying: "He will nullify it." The manifest mention of the Majestic Name in both instances serves to cast awe and cultivate reverence.
With His words (meaning: with His commands and His decrees). According to al-Hasan, it means: with His promise of victory to the one who brought it, and He—Glorified be He—does not break that promise. According to al-Jubba’i, it means: by what He reveals, clarifying the meanings of the signs that His Prophet, peace be upon him, brought. It has been read as "with His word" (singular), and it has been interpreted as "the command," one of the commands, just as the plural "words" was interpreted as the commands, with the intent being the generic category, thus making the two readings congruent. It has been said: It is possible that it refers to the command "Be," or that "the word" refers to a singular affair, while "words" refers to affairs and matters.
Even if the criminals dislike it (that). The intent by them is everyone characterized by criminality, from the sorcerers and others.
