Ibrahim: (8) And Moses said: If...

(And Moses said) to them: (If you disbelieve) in His blessings, Glorified is He, and do not show gratitude for them, (you) O Children of Israel, (and whoever is on the earth) of people—and it is said, of all created beings—(all together), He, Glorified is He, is not harmed; rather, only the one who disbelieves is harmed. (For indeed, Allah is Free of need) of your gratitude and theirs, (Praiseworthy).

(8) He is deserving of praise in His own Essence, Exalted is He, due to the multitude of His favors, even if no one were to praise Him. Or, He is "Praiseworthy" in that the angels, peace be upon them, praise Him; indeed, every atom in the universe speaks of His praise. Since praise, wherever it exists, comes in response to blessings and other virtues, it is a greater indication of His perfection, Majestic is He. This serves as the reasoning for what was omitted from the answer to "If you disbelieve," as we have indicated.
