Surah Al-Hijr 15:17
ﱉ ﱊ ﱋ ﱌ ﱍ
And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah]

And We have guarded it from every accursed devil.
(Accursed): Driven away from all goodness. "Rajm" is used for pelting with "rijam," which are stones; thus, the intended meaning of "al-rajim" is the one pelted with stars. It is also used to denote destruction and heinous killing. The intention behind guarding it from the devil is either to prevent him from approaching it entirely, or to prevent him from accessing what is within it, in a general sense.
