Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator.
Tafsir
Verse range: 15:86
(Indeed, your Lord—who brings you to the ultimate state of perfection—is the Creator—of you, them, and all things absolutely—the All-Knowing—of your states, their states, and everything, so that nothing that has transpired between you and them is hidden from His Majesty. Therefore, it is appropriate that you entrust matters to Him so that He may judge between you. Or, it means: He is the One who created you and knows the details of your circumstances, and He, Glory be to Him, knows whether graceful forbearance today is more appropriate or if the sword is more appropriate. Thus, it is a justification for the command to practice forbearance under either interpretation, as has been said.
Some of the researchers have said: It is, according to the latter, a tailpiece (tadhil) to the aforementioned command, and according to the former, it is to His saying, Glory be to Him: "Indeed, the Hour is coming."
Zayd ibn Ali (may Allah be pleased with both of them), al-Jahdari, al-A’mash, and Malik ibn Dinar read it as (Al-Khaliq—The Creator), as it is also found in the mushaf of Ubayy and Uthman (may Allah be pleased with both of them). "Al-Khaliq" is applicable to both the few and the many, while "al-Khallaq" is specific to the many. "Al-’Alim" (the All-Knowing) is more fitting for it, and it is—as has been said—more congruent with what preceded it of His, Glory be to Him, saying: "And We did not create the heavens and the earth and that which is between them except by truth.")
