ﱁ ﱂ ﱃ ﱄ ﱅ ﱆ ﱇ ﱈ
[It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?"

(Were My verses not recited to you): Implicitly containing a speech, meaning: it is said to them as a rebuke, a reprimand, and a reminder of that for which they deserved the torment with which they were afflicted: "Were My verses not recited to you in the world?" (and you used to deny them) at that time.
