"Do they think that what We extend to them of..."

(That is: what We give to them and make as an extension for them. Ma [what] is a relative pronoun acting as the subject of Anna [that]. Its being written as a single word [connected to ma] is not detrimental, as it is likewise written in the Imam [the Uthmanic Codex] for a reason we do not know. And His saying, Exalted is He: "of wealth and children" is an explanation of it. The rationale for presenting wealth before children, despite the latter being more cherished, has already been mentioned.)
