Surah Al-Mu'minoon 23:81



ﲄ ﲅ ﲆ ﲇ ﲈ ﲉ

Rather, they say like what the former peoples said.

{81} {بَلْ قَالُوا مِثْلَ مَا قَالَ الْأَوَّلُونَ}

{بَلْ قَالُوا}: A conjunction linked to an implicit statement required by the context, meaning: "They did not understand; rather, they said..."

{مِثْلَ مَا قَالَ الْأَوَّلُونَ}: Meaning their forefathers and those who followed their religion among the disbelievers who denied the Resurrection.
