Surah Al-Mu'minoon 23:88

ﳁ ﳂ ﳃ ﳄ ﳅ ﳆ ﳇ ﳈ ﳉ ﳊ ﳋ ﳌ ﳍ ﳎ

Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know?"

(88) Say: "In whose hand is the dominion of all things?" (From that which has been mentioned and that which has not been mentioned. The form *malakut* [dominion] is for the intensification of *mulk* [sovereignty]; thus, it refers to comprehensive, manifest sovereignty. It is also said: [it refers to] ownership and administration, and it is said: [it refers to] the treasuries).

"And He protects" (meaning: He defends whom He wills against whom He wills), "while against Him there is no protection" (and no one is protected from Him, Majestic and Exalted is He, by anyone. The verb is used with the preposition ‘ala [against] because it incorporates the meaning of aiding or prevailing).

"If you should know." (The repetition is to show contempt for them and to demonstrate their ignorance, as has passed previously).
