Surah Al-Mu'minoon 23:93

ﱩ ﱪ ﱫ ﱬ ﱭ ﱮ

Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised,

(Say, "My Lord, if You will show me...")

It means: If it is inevitable that You show me—because what is being promised to them, namely the worldly chastisement that annihilates [them], must take place—whereas the Hereafter’s chastisement does not befit this context.

(The two nuns [in turiyannani] are added for emphasis.)

(What they are promised): Meaning, that which they are promised of the worldly chastisement that annihilates them; as for the chastisement of the Hereafter, it does not befit the context.
