So fear Allah and obey me

Regarding what I command you concerning monotheism and obedience to Allah, the Exalted. The command to fear Allah, the Exalted, is placed before the command to obey [me], because fear of Allah, the Exalted, is the cause for obeying His messenger, peace be upon him.
