Ash-Shu'ara: (142–145)

"When their brother Salih said to them: Will you not fear [Allah]?"

The phrase "When their brother Salih said to them" is similar to the discourse previously mentioned regarding [the stories of] the preceding messengers.

"Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger."

This is a statement by him asserting his honesty in conveying the message from Allah, free from any deceit or betrayal.

"So fear Allah and obey me."

This is an exhortation to adhere to the duties of Taqwa (fear of Allah) and to follow the path he has brought, which consists of obedience to his message.

"And I do not ask you for it any payment; my payment is only from the Lord of the worlds."

This is a reiteration of the principle that his mission is entirely for the sake of Allah, devoid of any worldly recompense or material gain from those to whom he is sent. The matter is identical to the discourse provided earlier.
