Will you be left in what is here, secure [from death],

{أتتركون في ما ههنا آمنين}

This is a denunciation of them being left in the state of luxury they are currently in, secure from the torment of a tremendous day. The interrogative here is like the ones in the preceding statement of the Exalted, "Will you build," and the subsequent statement of the Exalted, "Do you approach." It is as if the people believed this would be the case, so he—peace be upon him—denounced it for them.

It is also possible that the interrogative is for affirmation (taqrir), serving as a reminder of the blessing in that the Exalted has left them and their means of sustenance in a state of security from the enemy and the like, and as a solicitation for gratitude for that security.

In al-Kashf, it is stated that this is more appropriate in this context. "Ma" (what) is a relative pronoun, and "hahuna" (here) is a reference to the immediate, present place. That is to say: "Will you be left in that which has been established in this place of yours, of luxury?"
