And it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not.

"Then it will come to them suddenly, while they do not perceive."
(Then it [the punishment] will come to them) suddenly, meaning unexpectedly, (while they do not perceive) it, that is, while they are unaware of its arrival.
