Surah Ash-Shu`ara' 26:57



ﳏ ﳐ ﳑ ﳒ

So We removed them from gardens and springs

{فَأَخْرَجْنَاهُم مِّن جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ}

"So We expelled them from gardens and springs" (i.e., Pharaoh and his soldiers). This means We created within them the motive for leaving, through the cause mentioned in the preceding three verses, which impelled them toward it; or it means We created their expulsion.

"From gardens and springs" — these were located along the banks of the Nile, as has been narrated from Ibn Umar and others.
