Tafsir of Al-`Ankabut 29:30

(He said: "My Lord, support me")—that is, by sending down the promised punishment—(against the corrupting people) by inventing the indecency and establishing it for those who came after them, persisting in it, and hastening the punishment by way of mockery. He described them as such only as an exaggeration in seeking to bring down the punishment.
