Verse range: 37:127

Open in Qurani

127: So they denied him, and indeed, they will be brought forward.

(So they denied him) regarding what his speech contained of Allah the Almighty’s obligation of monotheism, His prohibition of associating partners with Him, and His punishment for it. It is also permissible that their denial refers to what his saying, "Allah is your Lord," contained.

(And indeed, they) because of that, (will be brought forward), meaning into the punishment. It was stated absolutely, contenting oneself with the context—either because "bringing forward" when used absolutely is specifically associated with evil in general usage, or because of how it is employed in the Qur'an to imply compulsion.
