( فأتوا بكتابكم )

(Bring your book) which speaks to the validity of your claim, (if you are truthful) in it. The command is for the purpose of incapacitation, and attributing the book to them is for the sake of mockery. In these verses, there is information regarding the great indignation, the abhorrent denial of their assertions, the intense dismissal of their falsehoods, the belittling of their intellects, and the thinning of their minds and understandings—along with mockery of them and astonishment at their ignorance—that is not hidden from one who contemplates them.
