Surah As-Saffat 37:72



ﲹ ﲺ ﲻ ﲼ

And We had already sent among them warners.

{ وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَ }

And indeed, We sent among them warners:

Prophets who warned them of the evil consequences of the falsehood they were upon. The repetition of the oath is to highlight the utmost importance placed upon confirming the content of each of the two sentences.
