Tafsir of As-Saffat 37:73

(Then observe how was the end of those who were warned.)

[This end was] of such horror and atrocity, because they did not heed the warning and did not raise their heads toward it.

The address is directed either to the master of those addressed, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, or to everyone capable of observing the traces [left behind] by them. Since the meaning is that they were destroyed in a horrifying manner, He, the Almighty and Majestic, excepted the sincere ones from them by His saying:
