Surah As-Saffat 37:80

ﱑ ﱒ ﱓ ﱔ

Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.

(Indeed, thus We reward the doers of good)

This is a justification for what was done for him, of that which Allah, the Exalted, narrated, by virtue of his—peace be upon him—belonging to the group of those known for goodness and those firmly established in it. Thus, what occurred is of the category of rewarding goodness with goodness. His goodness was his striving against the enemies of Allah, the Exalted, by calling to His religion, his long patience regarding their harm, and matters similar to what has been mentioned.

This [phrasing] is an indication of the aforementioned sublime honors that occurred as a reward for him—peace be upon him. The inclusion of the meaning of distance [in the Arabic particle Dhalika] is to signal his high rank and his elevated status in virtue and honor. The particle Kaf (in Kadhālika) is connected to what follows it; meaning: with such a complete reward, We reward those who are perfect in goodness, not a reward lesser than it.
