Tafsir of Az-Zumar 39:27

"And indeed, We have set forth for mankind in this Qur’an" — of magnificent status — "from every similitude" — which the observer requires regarding the matters of his religion — "that they might remember."

That is, so that they may remember and be admonished, or with the hope of their remembrance and admonition; hope here being relative to those other than Him, Exalted be He, though the [interpretation of] causation is more apparent.
