(Guidance and a reminder): Meaning a source of guidance and a reminder, or as two sources used in the position of a state (hal), signifying "as a guide and a reminder."

(For those of intellect): For those possessing sound minds, purified from the impurities of illusion. They were singled out because they are the ones who benefit from it.
