So adhere to that which is revealed to you. Indeed, you are on a straight path.

(So hold fast to that which has been revealed to you. Indeed, you are on a straight path.)
This is a consolation for him—may Allah Almighty grant him peace—and a command for him—upon him be peace and blessings—or for his nation to persist in holding fast to the verses and acting upon them. The fa (So) is in response to an implied condition, meaning: If one of these two matters is inevitable, then hold fast to what We have revealed to you. His saying—the Exalted—(Indeed, you are) and what follows, is either the reason for the holding fast or the reason for the command to do so.
Some reciters of the Levant read (awḥā) with the lam quiescent (sukun). Ad-Dahhak read (awḥā) in the active voice (fa'il).
