"Enter Paradise, you..."

(Enter, you and your spouses): Your believing women; the genitive construction (idafa) denotes complete exclusivity. Thus, those among them who did not believe are excluded.

(You will be delighted): You will be gladdened with a joy that manifests its hibar—that is, its trace—in the form of radiance and beauty upon your faces, as the Exalted says: "You will recognize in their faces the radiance of bliss."

Or, it means you will be adorned—from al-hibr (with a fatha or kasra on the ha), which means embellishment and excellence of appearance. This is identical in meaning to the previous interpretation, with the difference lying only in the etymological root.

Al-Zajjaj said: It means you will be honored with an exaggerated, profound honor. Al-hibra (with a fatha) refers to excellence in a deed that is described as beautiful; from this comes al-ikram (bestowing honor). It is, in origin, a general term here intended to refer to some of its specific instances.
