So as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them into His mercy. That is what is the clear attainment.

(As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will admit them into His mercy...)
This is an elaboration of the general implication understood from His saying, "He speaks the truth concerning you," or it concerns the promise and the threat. The intended meaning of "mercy" is Paradise, used metaphorically, and the preposition "in" (fi) is taken in its literal sense. It has also been said that "mercy" encompasses Paradise and other blessings, but the first interpretation is more apparent.
(That is the clear triumph.)
The apparent meaning is that it is a triumph beyond which there is no other triumph.
