ﲛ ﲜ ﲝ
He will guide them and amend their condition
Tafsir
Verse range: 47:5
(He will guide them): He will lead them to the reward for those deeds, consisting of everlasting bliss and great bounty. This is like an explanation for His statement, the Exalted: "He will not let their deeds go to waste." Alternatively, He, the Majestic in His praise, will firmly establish their guidance in this world; the intended meaning is a promise that He, the Exalted, will protect and preserve them from that which causes misguidance and the nullification of deeds, and this is like an explanation for that as well.
(And amend their condition): That is, their state of affairs. Al-Tabarsi said: The intended meaning is the amendment of that in the Hereafter, so that it does not repeat what has preceded, because the intent there [in the previous verses] is the amendment of their state in both religion and worldly life; so do not be heedless.
