(Those who are in ghamrah (in a state of profound ignorance that overwhelms and encompasses them, just as overwhelming water encompasses) wherein they are sahun (heedless) )

(Neglectful of that which they were commanded to do; thus, the intended meaning of sahw (heedlessness) here is absolute negligence.)
