Surah At-Tur 52:41
ﲍ ﲎ ﲏ ﲐ ﲑ
Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down?

Al-Tur: (41) "Or is the Unseen with them..."
"...so they write [it down]?"
From it, and inform people of it; this was stated by Ibn Abbas. Ibn Atiyyah said: "Or do they possess the knowledge of the Unseen, so they establish for people what they claim to be religious law, such as the worship of idols, the designating of sa'ib (sacred camels), and others of their customs?" Qatadah said: "(Or is the Unseen with them) so that they know when Muhammad—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—will die, whom they are lying in wait for?" And some have interpreted "(they write)" as "they judge."
