ﲜ ﲝ ﲞ ﲟ ﲠ ﲡ ﲢ ﲣ ﲤ ﲥ

Or have they a deity other than Allah? Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him.

Or do they have a god other than Allah? (Who would assist them and protect them from His punishment—Exalted and Majestic is He.)

Exalted is Allah above what they associate [with Him] (Meaning: Exalted is He above their act of associating partners [with Him], assuming *ma* [what] is a particle denoting the verbal noun [masdariyyah]; or exalted is He above the partnership of that which they associate [with Him], assuming *ma* is a relative pronoun [mawsulah], preceded by an implied possessive noun [mudaf], with the referential pronoun [‘a’id] being omitted.)
