Tafsir of An-Najm 53:40

"And that his effort is going to be seen."

That is, it will be presented to him and revealed to him on the Day of Resurrection, in his record and upon his scale. [This is derived] from the phrase "I showed him the thing" (araituhu al-shay').

In al-Bahr, [it is stated]: He will be present, and it will be brought forth to him and witnessed on the Day of Resurrection. This is an honor for the doer of good and a reproach for the doer of evil.
