Surah Al-Waqi'ah 56:51
ﱁ ﱂ ﱃ ﱄ ﱅ
Then indeed you, O those astray [who are] deniers,
ﱁ ﱂ ﱃ ﱄ ﱅ
Then indeed you, O those astray [who are] deniers,
Tafsir
Verse range: 56:51
Then you, O astray ones—this is a conjunction to "the former ones," falling within the scope of the [implied] utterance. "Then" (thumma) denotes either temporal delay or a sequence in rank. [You are] the deniers of the resurrection, or of that which encompasses it and other matters, and this [resurrection] is included primarily due to the context, as has been stated. The address is directed at the people of Mecca and their likes—you shall surely eat after the resurrection, the gathering, and entry into Hell.
