That is, filling your bellies, due to the intensity of hunger, for it is that which forced and compelled them to eat the likes of it from that which is not eaten. As for the reading of the majority [of reciters], the explanation for it is to interpret it based on meaning, as it is in the sense of "the tree" or "the trees," if one considers its applicability to the plural.
