Tafsir of Al-Waqi'ah 56:60

We have decreed death among you—meaning: We have apportioned it among you, and We have appointed the time of every person's death to a specific time, according to what Our will necessitates, which is based on profound wisdom. Ibn Kathir read it as qadarna (with a light 'dal'), and We are not to be outrun—meaning: No one can overcome Us.
