Al-Qalam: (27) "Nay, but we are deprived."
"Nay, but we are deprived." They said this after they had reflected and arrived at the reality of the matter, turning away from their previous statement. That is to say: We are not lost [in our path], but rather we are deprived; we have been barred from its good due to our transgression against our own selves.
