Tafsir of Al-Haqqah 69:40

Indeed, it is—that is, the Quran.

The word of a messenger—who conveys it from Allah the Exalted, for a messenger does not speak from himself.

Noble—in the sight of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic. This is the Prophet, may Allah exalt his mention and grant him peace, according to the statement of the majority. Ibn al-Sa’ib, Muqatil, and Ibn Qutaybah said: He is Jibril, peace be upon him.
