Verse range: 7:25
(He said) is repeated for the sake of a new beginning, either to signal that what follows is not connected to what preceded it, or to manifest concern for what follows it, which is His statement, Glorified is He: "Therein you will live, and therein you will die, and from it you will be brought forth" at the resurrection on the Day of Judgment. The people of Kufa, other than 'Asim, read "tu-khrajun" (you will be brought forth) with a fatha on the ta and a damma on the ra [referring to the passive voice], while others read it as "ta-khrujun" (you will come forth) with a fatha on the ta and a damma on the ra [referring to the active voice].
