(That you may traverse) from it (ways) meaning paths.

(Wide) plural of fajj (mountain pass). It is a descriptive adjective modifying "ways." Many have said it is the noun for a wide path, and it has been said it is the noun for a path between two mountains, in which case it would be an appositive (badal) or an explanatory clause ('atf bayan).

The prepositional phrase "from it" relates to what precedes it because it implies the meaning of "taking/adopting." Otherwise, the verb [to traverse/walk] usually takes the preposition "in" or an implied one; thus, it is a circumstantial qualifier (hal) for "ways," meaning "ways existing from the earth." If it had been placed later [in the sentence structure], it would have functioned as an adjective for them.
