(And the moon is eclipsed/loses its light). Its light departs. Abu Haywah, Ibn Abi 'Ablah, Zayd ibn 'Ali, and Yazid ibn Qutayb read it as khusifa al-qamaru (the moon is eclipsed), based on the construction of the verb for the passive voice.
