Tafsir of Al-Mursalat 77:43

"Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."

The verb is estimated by the phrase "It is said to them." It acts as a circumstantial qualifier (hal) for the pronoun of "the righteous" mentioned in the preceding report—as if it were said: "They are settled therein, being told: 'Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do' in the worldly life, in terms of righteous deeds, faith, and other such acts."
