Both of these two matters will come to pass, and neither is in the least bit impossible. As for what the ancient philosophers claimed regarding the nature of those celestial bodies and the impossibility of their dissolution and non-existence—they are like a spider's web. Likewise, what the modernists claim regarding what is within them, even if it is not established in our view, the possibility of their extinction is perfectly evident.
