Inna lil-muttaqina mafaza (Indeed, for the God-fearing is a place of attainment)

This is a commencement in explaining the states of the believers, following the explanation of the evil states of the disbelievers. Mafaza is a verbal noun of place or time (masdar mimi) or a noun of place; meaning that for those who avoid acts of disbelief, there is attainment and success in their endeavors, or a place of attainment and salvation from what those [disbelievers] are in, or a place of salvation.
