Tafsir of Al-Inshiqaq 84:13

"Indeed, he used to be among his people in the worldly life joyful, glad, insolent, and indulging in luxury, with no thought crossing his mind regarding the matters of the Hereafter, nor did he reflect upon the consequences. He did not belong to our party, reflecting upon his condition and his final outcome as the righteous and the God-fearing do. The sentence is a resumption (isti'naf) to clarify the reason for what preceded it."
