Surah Al-Lail 92:11
ﱄ ﱅ ﱆ ﱇ ﱈ ﱉ
And what will his wealth avail him when he falls?

Tafsir
Verse range: 92:11
"And what will his wealth avail him": That is, his wealth will not avail him at all, if "ma" is treated as a negation. Or, "What thing will his wealth—which he is stingy with—avail him?" if it is treated as an interrogative.
"When he falls": That is, when he perishes. It is derived from al-rada, which means destruction; this was stated by Mujahid. It has been said that it means he falls into the pit of the grave. Qatadah and Abu Salih said: He falls into Hell, meaning he is cast into it. Some have said it refers to him being covered in his shrouds, from the word rida’ (garment/cloak), which is a metonymy for his death and destruction.
