Tafsir of Al-Lail 92:14

It is said that this is derived from the fact that guidance belongs to Him, Glory be to Him, meaning: "I have guided you through warning and have exerted myself in your guidance."

Talazza (تلظى) means "to blaze," and its original form is tatalazza (تتلظى) with two tas, one of which has been elided. This [original] reading has been reported from Ibn al-Zubayr, Zayd ibn Ali, Talha, Sufyan ibn ‘Uyaynah, and ‘Ubayd ibn ‘Umayr.
