Surah Al-Furqan 25:13



ﱋ ﱌ ﱍ ﱎ ﱏ ﱐ ﱑ ﱒ ﱓ

And when they are thrown into a narrow place therein bound in chains, they will cry out thereupon for destruction.

وإذا ألقوا منها مكانا ضيقا مقرنين

And when they shall be thrown into a narrow place thereof, chained together, Qatadah narrated from Abu Ayyub that Abdullah bin `Amr said: "Like the point of a spear, i.e., in its narrowness.'' Abu Salih said,

مقرنين

(chained together), "This means, tied from their shoulders.''

دعوا هنالك ثبورا

they will exclaim therein for destruction. means, they will utter cries of woe, regret and sorrow

ﻻ تدعوا اليوم ثبورا واحدا وادعوا ثبورا كثيرا
